Patriots and Saints?

Yesterday brought me one step closer to my dream matchup for the Superbowl! With New England taking San Diego 24-21 (Go Pats!) and New Orleans beating Philly the day before, that leaves one more game for each of my hometown (new and old) teams to get to the big dance!
The road won't exactly be easy though, with the Patriots having to beat the Colts and the Saints having to make their way past the really tough Chicago Bears.
There is hope though!
I happened to be in Indy yesterday when Rachel and I decided to make a quick stop at the RCA Dome (the Colts home field and where the game will be played next week) to make a personal message of hope for the Pats.
I've never been good at inspirational messages.

Rose Bowl / NFL Draft

So after the Rose Bowl last night, which was a fantastic game that reminded me how exciting college football can be, some people are asking the question "If Young declares for the draft next year do you think he will go at #1". Here's your answer.
Not. A. Chance.
The Texans have the first pick next year. They are set on David Carr being the future. They will take Bush or trade down. More than likely Young will take another year in UT to get the Heisman he was so upset about not taking home this year.
If I guess I say the first QB to go will be taken by New Orleans. They have sucked ungodly ass for years because Aaron Brooks is about as consistant as the weather in Scotland. If Young declares eligible there may be some doubt here (though I doubt it) but if not expect to see Leinart in black and gold and wondering what city his team plays for next year. New Orleans has a nasty PR problem both with the confusion surrounding their home and their owner being a complete nutjob, a heisman trophy winner that will remind people of the current golden boy of football (Tom Brady) is exactly what The Saints need.
