Rachel will be here soon...

So it's been a while since my last entry eh? Yeah it has.
One event of note really, and the one I'm writing about. Rachel is coming here for Christmas... I am, of course, quite nervous, and very excited. We've been talking for a year or so now, and I've been looking forward to this for a long time.
We plan on spoiling each other and watching a ton of movies. She may even get me into church for Christmas, she has a dress she brought down for it that I'm aching to see her in. :)
She's leaving the New Orleans area right now, so with traffic she should be here in the next two hours. I may even have to blog a lot more. There will definitely be pictures. Hope you all have holidays as good as mine looks to be.

Happy New Year!
[keywords: holidays newyears 2006 resolutions gigi]
Well, the new year is rolling up and in 15 minutes it will be 2006 in my hometown, so I'd like to take a moment to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
I had intended to post a resolution for the next year here, but I realized that that would just embarass me down the road when I fail at it. As such I have decided if I'm going to go down, I'm going to go down big. Thus I present to you my New Year's Resolution for the year of our l0rd 2006...
This year I will make out with Gigi Leung in the back seat of my NSX at the drive in... on the moon!
Yessir!

April 12th
[keywords: holidays]
Today is April 12th. Today is a pretty neat day of the year. On this day two of my best friends were born. Two fantastic ladies who not only share an immense amount of coolness, and have great taste in friends, but who oddly enough chose the same nick on the interweb. So Diva? Happy birthday!!
I really would love to sit and write a novel about both of these women so much has their impact been on my life, but honestly even they would get bored and stop reading, I'm just not a very good writer.
Georgia helped me through so many issues and brought me into her family at a time when I really needed it. She gave up a lot for me and showed me the meaning of unconditional love for a friend. She's a fantastic singer and you lot are gonna be hearing from her soon. I guarantee.
:odessa:.. What could be said about her in my life? Quite honestly there has never been another person so ready to step in and help me with any problem, no matter how bad. When most people give up on you is when Odessa seems to start. Realistically I feel like her birthday is kind of a holiday for me as well, a good reason for me to celebrate the wonderful person I have in my life and really and truly the best friend I could ask for.

Happy EXTREEEEEME Easter!
[keywords: holidays]
To all of you who celebrate it, and honestly who doesn't? Happy Easter! By 5pm tomorrow every child in my immediate family will be disgustingly sick to their stomach (some of the adults too). And the easter bunny will be back to doing... whatever it is he does on his off time.

About the theme: The theme was a blatent rip from TLG Media's "A New Bunny" flash movie. For some reason after watching it I was unable to think of another bunny up to the task of giving candy to my nieces and nephews.
