Ripped... I guess
In the past I've had layouts ripped, I can't even begin to tell you how many times TalkLoud has been copied... I've had php scripts I wrote ripped and called other peoples work, and now it seems I have moved into another dimension. The Avatar ripping dimension. This is funny because there is nothing particularly great about mine. I'm obviously not a graphic person so making your own would take all of 15 seconds.
It appears another site has ripped a number of my avatar sets, including the NFL, NBA, and the ever popular Sin City avatars. Theirs are here, here, and here.
Am I saying this because I mind? Of course not, I put them up to share with the world. I'm mostly saying it because I was hoping that some of you retards that continue to hotlink from my server even though it's not really looking too cool on your end can maybe move over to their site since they seem not to mind it!

How do you tell if someone is linking to your images?
That does suck! I love what you did for people that are hotlinking though! Thats awesome!! :-)

Myself I’m using an .htaccess script to substitute a seperate file when someone hotlinks (instead of xx.jpg it calls new.jpg) tracking sites that call that new file is easy and I can just go from there. You could actually get fancy and have it call a php file that generates a .jpg file or something of that nature as well.

Should you want to log hotlink attempts writing it into the php script would be elementary.
