Comment Spam
For some odd reason in the past 2 days I have been getting an insane amount of comment spam. By insane I mean prolly 100 spam messages with no point to them, just a bunch of advertising links. This normally wouldn't be worth commenting on except for the huge pickup in them spamming me. I mean I might have gotten 100 every few weeks maybe, but never like this.
The really odd thing is why they would even bother. I seriously doubt they are after my huge PR4 Google ranking, and even if they were it's pointless. First off the referral log and comment links are both set to rel="nofollow" so there would be no point even if they GOT through. Second they just aren't getting through. Every single one is moderated immediately and deleted, so it leaves me to wonder why?

How irritating! I’ve been fortunate to only have been spammed on my blog a few times.
