More Google Goodness

In what looks like a straight shot at Yahoo, Google released personalized home pages today. Allowing users to personalize the homepage in much the same manner as My Yahoo!. Users with Gmail will see their last xx emails. One can also add the latest news from Google News, weather reports, movie showings, even the latest from Wired and the New York Times.

I wonder if they’re going to be any better than Yahoo. Not to say that Yahoo’s good, but it would be nice if a company chose to expand their business that they did it with the idea of doing a better job in mind… and not just getting bigger.
