Our moral government

Driving While Intoxicated - 0 - 6 months
Sexual Assault - 0 to 24 months
Involuntary Manslaughter - 0 to 36 months
Illegally copying a Movie/DVD - 36 to 72 months

What does the above mean? Why thats a small comparison for the amount of time spent in prison for certain horrible crimes. In case you were wondering if the whole Illegally copying a Movie/DVD thing was somehow switched with one of the other offenses, wonder no more! That's right ladies and gentlemen, the same government that believe that gay marriage is a crime against humanity and that we need to be morally guided through every decision in our lives has apparently deemed that copying a movie is a worse offense than killing and or sexually assaulting someone.

In case you thought there was any lapse in policy however you can still get as many years for selling corporate secrets. Thank god for that!

(I really have tried to stay out of politics.. *sigh*)

I’m staying in Australia. Our economy thrives on severe criminal acts like movie piracy. phew Thank Christ.

sigh I’m just waiting for the day they change the name from ‘moral majority’ to ‘christian brigade’ and be done with the fine line they ignore anyway. Let’s face it… money and religion run this country, and pointing to the constitution only gets snickers. Oh Clinton where art thou?

Clinton wasn’t no knight in shinning armor. He was a sellout as much as the rest of them. Remember him signing the bill against gay marriage back in the 90’s? I do….

Its not just your country. Here they just released a new law that allows to put grafitti sprayers to jail for max. 3 years. You can kill people here and if you had a beer before kiling or your mom slapped you once as a child thats totally ok and you need help. But if you dont pay taxes properly or copy CDs you are in real troubles.
